May Day or Bealtaine, as it is known in the Celtic calendar, brings the start of summer and with it a range of customs and traditions that were practiced across Ireland. My work is closely inspired by the heritage and customs of Ireland. Here I'll tell you a little more about the May customs that influence my artwork for the Celtic Seasons Collection.

Why Irish Linen?
I create my work on Irish Linen for a number of reasons; from the aesthetic qualities of the fabric to it's heritage and history in Northern Ireland.
